More than two thousand employees work for the company. The quality management system, applied in the “ENGEOCOM Association” CJSC, is ISO 9001 certified.
The ENGEOCOM company was founded in 1989. 4 engineers started the enterprise in a room of 18 square meters. From the start ENGEOCOM specializes in the engineering of extra complicated objects. As most construction agencies of the Soviet era failed to operate successfully in new conditions the newborn company immediately won several large-scale building contracts.
In the early Nineties ENGEOCOM went international. During 4 years from 1991 to 1995 the company successfully tendered for building contracts of varying complexity abroad. The “ENGEOCOM Association” reconstructed buildings and underground structures in Austria, reinforced the basement of King’s castle (Zamek Kr?lewski) in Krakov, bored the tunnel through the Andes to Peru (not completed) and contributed to the construction of the underground parking in Vatican.
At the same time the company was active on the Russian market, especially in the capital. Experts note that ENGEOCOM carved out its own niche in the industry. Complex and more than often unique technologies made it easy to win bids and tenders in Moscow. The company also specialized in custom projects, being ahead of competition in this sphere. Among the most interesting projects of mid 90s in Moscow are the reconstruction of the sections of the Moscow Channel, refurbishment of the Maly theater and Alexander Pushkin house, construction of the retail center on the Manezhnaya square.
